I am a retired Navy Chief. I retired from the Navy in 2000. I now work in Dahlgren, and have lived in Bowling Green since 2007.

I started oil painting two years ago, even though I enjoyed drawing after I took a class in drawing as an elective when I was going to school ten years ago.

I paint and draw for the enjoyment of creating a piece of art. My work is based on what I see around me. I do not specialize in any one subject, but I tend to be drawn to landscapes.

My goal is to create pieces that people can enjoy, as much as I enjoy creating them.

When I am not painting, I play Ice Hockey in Richmond, enjoy golf and fishing. I also enjoy spending time with wife and my family, especially my grandkids.
